It was then revealed that Spider-Man 2099 was going to be the antagonist of the sequel to the Miles Morales movies and the expectations shot up even more.
One of the reasons that took the first installment to a whole new standard was the quality of the animations of the world as well as the different designs that every Spider-Man carried with him. The sequel presents a formidable challenge to overcome and the directors have set out to improve upon what they had previously accomplished by taking the viewer into different universes. Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) will travel through six different universes. Each one will be distinctive in the style of culture they wish to communicate. He discovers the characteristics of each universe and what they will look like.
